Thank you for taking the time to reply. In this case I only worked for this employer for a few months and there were no other employees.
I've seen some other forums indicate generic numbers can be used for the State ID as long as it follows the standard set by the state but I wasn't sure in that works for Montana. It seems like paper filing might be the only option which is unfortunate since it's 2024 and I don't know people that still use home printers.
