Last year and previous years, I have filed "Married Filing Separately" with my husband. We each have our own Turbotax account and this year we decided to file "Married Filing Jointly." Do we both need to complete our own returns with our own Turbotax account, under the status of "Married Filing Jointly," then submit them separately this year? Every year going forward, will we then only need to do this on one Turbotax account? If it only needs to be completed on one account, how do we choose the account that is used?
