While a bill was introduced for federal, only the state of GA currently allows the deduction for an unborn child. You have to enter the unborn child in the GA program. Follow these steps:
- Open your GA state return
- continue to a screen that says "Here's the income that Georgia handles differently."
- Locate Miscellaneous
- Locate "Dependent Personal Exemption for Unborn Children.", start
