Thank you for the clarification. I tested this here on my end and had no issues.
Try this:
- Sign out of TurboTax.
- Clear your cache and cookies. If you aren't sure how to do that in your preferred browser, follow this link for instructions.
- Sign in again.
- Select Deductions & Credits, then select Edit to the right of Teacher (Educator) Expenses.
- Enter your amount and select Continue.
- You should see a message that tells you the amount of your allowed deduction.
