Federal (and GA state) tax extension through IRS extension payment - $0

I need more time to get my taxes together so I'm thinking of filing an extension with the IRS. I've already paid all my taxes (as per my estimates). I don't want to use the paper filing 4868, I see that the IRS grants an extension automatically when you make an extension payment through the IRS account.

My question is two fold:

1. Since I've already paid all my estimated taxes (110% of last years taxes minimum) and possibly expect a refund, can I make a $0 extension payment and still get an extension?

2. When I make an extension payment above, can I the screenshot of the IRS extension payment be used to get an extension for Georgia state tax returns well?
