Note that because I cannot get to the very end of the e-file process, I cannot direct a timely "refund" to i-Series bonds. Paper filing means later filing. Later e-filing after 2/12/2024 will likely mean missing interest for the month of January. State taxes are also held hostage.
I followed the FAQ link to sign up for notifications. That leads me to a whole series of account setup and product offering questions? That's not what I expected.
The Form 7206 may be new, but last year it was basically the same thing, only classified as a worksheet. This tells me the TurboTax team isn't doing effective structured testing in advance.
One member noted problem resolution by removing "0" entries in 1095-A form. I have no zero entries. Revisiting the form didn't help. FWIW, many members claim they only have Medicare and not marketplace (1095-A), but some may have both in transition years or for a spouse. You need to test all scenarios.
