Get your taxes done using TurboTax

This is nothing more than incompetence at Intuit.  Sorry, but I call it like I see it.    I suspect they simply put the wrong resources on it or do not have enough people to address the problem.  As mentioned the online version works fine - and HR block and other tax agencies have NO issue filing electronically.     This is a widespread issue that affects everyone filing with the desktop versions of TT and it should be garnering their top priority.    I have been sending clients to the online version or to HR Block - I do not want to risk MY reputation on software bugs.    Shame on Intuit for not taking care of this in an expedient manner - this has been going on for more than a week now.    Their response to this entire thing has been typical of companies who do not care about their customers. 

Intuit :  the IRS does not care if you can't get your SH*T together -  some fiscal year and business change clients need to file NOW and will be  facing extensions because of your incompetence.  This entire issue and your response to it  is UNACCEPTABLE !
