I love in north carolina. 5 years ago my lady friend had me help a homeless woman get clean and off the streets. Now 5 years later she still lives in my house in her own room with no income, I support her in a big way. I keep her off drugs and off the streets only because my lady friend and her were best friends in high school can I claim her as a dependent on my taxes?
