Finally resolved (for me).

 

While other providers such as HR Block got their act together more quickly, TT was slower in integrating the new form into their platform thus why they said filing wouldn't be possible until 2/7. That day came and we all realized it still wasn't possible. TT Support online just said to keep trying as the day went on then radio silence as it seemed they realized it would be delayed but didn't want to communicate that to customers for some reason. Then they made their second error of sending out an email that it was ready but again still not available for any customers that I'm aware of. Presumably it was scheduled to go out at a certain time and was too late to cancel that even though the 7206 feature was delayed. What a nightmare. And while on the website app it always kept saying 2/7 it appears other places such as maybe the mobile app or desktop app, it changed from 2/7 to coming soon. As of 2/8 a day late, it's finally all working on the "web app". No longer throughs the 7206 error and lets you efile. Hopefully Intuit has learned from this experience about properly communication issues with their customers as on social they were mistakenly blaiming peoples devices rather than admitting the problem.

Worse it seems for people using other methods, possibly the desktop app? Its now saying they can't efile, which presumably is a bug since efile is working normally on the web version. It sounds like mobile is working but can't personally speak to that.
