Form 1099-MISC that reports business, farm, or rental property income will be displayed under those topics of the Business Summary screen in TurboTax Home & Business (or the income summary screen in other versions of TurboTax).
Only non-business income from Form 1099-MISC will remain on the 1099-MISC under Other Common Income on the Personal Income screen. When applicable, TurboTax tries to link your income to a business, farm, or rental property for your convenience. This consolidates your income under the related topic. It is not a program defect.
