Is there anything entered that would make the program think you did have that type of income?
Did you enter 1099-G?
There are several kinds of 1099-G, such as unemployment, state refunds as well as Agricultural Payments.
If you can't think of anything you might have entered that needs to be corrected, you'll have to try deleting the Michigan return and start the state return over.
