Is it over $3000 or under $3000?
There could be several reasons for this problem:
1) Please make sure none of the income information is not duplicated, if this is the case you can delete the duplicate one using these steps
- Open your return in TurboTax. (To do this, sign in to TurboTax, and select Take me to my return.)
- In the left-side menu, select Tax Tools > Tools.
- In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
- Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list and follow the onscreen instructions.
2) If it is under $3000 you can enter the information on your input screen.
3) You can also verify all the information entered on your W-2, 1099s and other income related documents.
