Get your taxes done using TurboTax
I filed three 1099-NECs Jan 31 in the morning, and as of now (Feb 1st, 8 pm) the status still says "submitted for e-file." What does "submitted for e-file" mean? Does that mean the forms have not been transmitted and are sitting somewhere on TurboTax's server? Would it be considered late filing since we are past the Jan 31 deadline?
I called and spoke with 3 TurboTax reps, and they have no clue what I was talking about. Two of them hung up on me, and the third one asked me to call Quick Books because they thought Quick Employer Forms is a product of Quick Books.
I regret using Quick Employer Forms. Bad tool.
