Hi, In 2022, my daughter (22yrs) had an internship at AARP in NYC before her senior year of college and she made about $6k but never filed her taxes that year, 2022. Does she need to file them, albeit late - because those are the rules and she may be due a refund? or is it a wash at this point and she can let it go since she was a dependent and not a lot of money earned?
