I did the standard deduction. I didn't get paid any more or any less than last year, but somehow my refund is abysmal. My friend who only makes a dollar more than me is getting back a lot. I'm not sure why this is happening. I double checked everything and all the numbers are in the correct boxes so how come their getting a lot and I'm getting a little. It also said my job says I'm a statuary employee but I'm only a cashier so is that why I'm not getting a lot back are they trying to screw me over? Double digit returns don't seem right when before they were like 1000 . Sorry for bothering everybody but it's just really irking me that its like this. No change in pay has happened since the previous year but it's still really low and I'm frustrated.
