My efile was rejected as my son's SSN was not recognized. He just got it and we have found out since it can take 30 days for SSA to propagate that to all databases. I decided to file an extension and efile later but just got this from turbo tax.

It mentioned nothing about extension so am I allowed to file an extension after having an efile rejected?
