There are a couple of things to consider here.
First, you stated that you are putting the numbers into the FORM.
- Based on that it seems that you have the CD Desktop version of TurboTax.
- You should make all entries in the Step By Step mode. This will help guide you through the program.
Second, You've stated several times that the origin of the 1099-INT was MO.
- The origin doesn't matter.
- What matters is the state that you receive it in.
- If that is IL, then it is posted correctly
