It sounds like you're in the Desktop version.
- The Desktop version has two modes "Step by Step" and "Forms".
- You can see this on the top right corner of your screen.
- If you are in Forms mode your screen will look like the IRS form that it represents.
- If you ate in Step by Step mode your screen will look like an entry format and have questions to assist with your entry.
- To change modes simply click the "Forms" or "Step by Step" button at the top right of your screen.
