This reject code is relative to claiming a dependent, most likely an Other Dependent. If your return was rejected for that error, I suggest reviewing all of the information entered for the dependents. MN uses the same criteria for claiming a dependent as the Federal Government. To review a dependent in TurboTax:
- Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
- Select My Info in the menu.
- Select the dependent button if you need to add or review someone. Select the trash can icon next to the name of a dependent to remove them. We'll ask you to confirm before we take them off your return.
