Yes, you can clear these forms and e-file today, if you don't have an Energy credit, or a carryover of Energy credit.
This is how to delete the form:
- Open your return in TurboTax.
- In the left-side menu, select Tax Tools, then Tools.
- Select Delete a form, from the list in the pop-up window.
- Select Delete next to Form 5695.
- Confirm your Delete, select Continue, then Continue with my return.
- Select Review from the left-side menu.
- Continue through the review process and file section to e-file your return.
