YOu very well might, if your total income from all sources was high enough for the entire tax year. I can only guess why your employer did not withhold taxes on your W-2 income. Either your income was to low, or when you filled out the W-4 you indicated that you were exempt from withholding. For the latter, the employer would only have withheld Medicare and SS if your income was sufficient where they were required to.
