No, the IRS does not send confirmation of your estimated tax payments. However they do have an online site where you can check to see what they show for your estimated tax payments and when they were paid.
To confirm the amount of your payments, sign into your account at the IRS, or create one.
Sign In to make an Individual Tax Payment and See Your Payment History
For individuals only.
- You will need to create an IRS Online Account before using this option.
- View the amount you owe, your payment plan details, payment history, and any scheduled or pending payments.
- Make a same day payment from your bank account for your balance, payment plan, estimated tax, or other types of payments.
Where do I enter estimated tax payments?
- Search for estimated tax payments and select the Jump to in the search results.
- Select Estimates and Other Taxes Paid.
- Select Start or Revisit next to Estimated Tax Payments.
You can always review your bank account or check with your bank if you choose.
