The IRS will not "get" you if they think you are entitled to a refund for 2022. They chase after people who owe tax, not people who should get a refund. But if you don't file a 2022 tax return and report the 2022 W-2 you will lose your refund.
You can still file a 2022 tax return, but not with TurboTax Online. TurboTax Online is only for the current tax year, which is now 2023. To file for 2022 you have to use the CD/Download TurboTax software for 2022. You can purchase a download at the following link. There is no free filing for past years.
