I know it's been a year since this question but I had a follow-up question. I always consider the Amazon rewards and similarly Google survey rewards to be discounts rather than income because they only give you credits to use at their own store, not like a visa gift card or gift card for another store. To me this seems more like a store discount than any sort of income. Is that not the case?
