This was very unclear to me when getting a charger installed. It looks to me like if you take the $7500 EV credit, you won't get a 30% credit for the home charger install in the same year unless you make just under the max joint income and don't have hardly any other credits.
I was expecting the $600 back on my taxes that won't happen now.
