Hello,
I live in Georgia and purchased a new car and paid sales tax. I entered the information in the "State and Local Tax Refunds form 1099-G" and it didnt make any difference on the refund. It appears the system has selected the standard deduction in my case. Am I missing something or shouldnt that help getting a bigger refund?
