My parent claimed me as dependent on their 2022 taxes and I plan on going to graduate school this fall which requires independent. Am I able to file 2022 with no problem?

I never filed for 2022 because I was claimed as a dependent. I contacted graduate schools and they said I have to submit my own taxes for 2022. If I do that, will it affect my parent’s taxes or my own from 2022?
