I heard that activating TurboTax 2023(CD version) required an account. Is it true, and if so, is it the same account as I'm using to post this question or a different one ? I always used TT CDs, and have never used the download versions of TT, therefore, I don't have an account at Intuit other than the one I'm using for Community Discussion.
If I need to create an account, do I need to provide sensitive information(name, address, phone#, ssn) to create an account ?
