Thanks for your response. Yes I purchased Turbotax from Costco online. While it indicated the installation was completed successfuly, the installation did not create the desktop icon for Turbotax this year. That is why I went to the Download folder and clicked on the Installer again and then got the message "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect."
