Because you created an LLC, you are obligated to file that way, even if it would be better not to. (There is an exception if the only two members are spouses and you live in a community property state.)
You may want to seek expert help to unwind the LLC so you can file on schedule E. Or at least, see an expert to discuss your options. Some of the reasons people think that LLCs are better, aren't necessarily true.
