The red exclamation point is on the 1040X and ONLY the 1040X.
On the 1040X there are NO pink boxes, no red numbers (estimated or override), and the "errors" icon which adds the errors box at the bottom shows NO ERRORS. So I have a mark showing there are errors but none to be found. Harumph.
If I knew which form/worksheet they were going to, I would delete it. But I don't find anything with line numbers that look like the ones EasyStep is asking for. NO other forms/sheets marked with exclamation point in the Forms method box.
Seems to me TT should take you back to whatever it wants you to fix! Usually it does, but it's not doing that here. It's just telling me to "go back and fix it" but not telling me where to go back and fix it. Double harumph.
I'll try checking the "mail in" option and see if that does it. Will report back. Any other thoughts??
