In addition to what xmasbaby0 mentioned, what you're referring to here is the Child Care Credit, which is a credit (rather than a deduction), and is available for expenses paid for camp for a child under 19 on the last day of the year, among other criteria. Assuming you otherwise qualify, the credit is worth up to 35% of your camp expenses (up to $3,000 for one child), depending upon the amount of your Adjusted Gross Income.
