Hey btrubauer14, great question.

Your state, for tax purposes, still depends on which state you consider to be home. Even if you are currently living with other people in other states. Your tax home is your actual home, the state the you would be living in if you had a choice. 
You stated that you are still based in the state where you used to work, so you would still use that state as your home residence for tax purposes.
