Hello,
I signed up for california care in early 2022 because we were required to do it. I put in what I was making and they calculated what my premium would be. I paid the premiums but then I got a job much later in the year that paid more (I was working part time before that). When I did my taxes, I got to the part with the mandatory insurance and then my taxes due jumped up by 2,000. I can't imagine that's the intention of this program. I also don't know how to start even asking about this.
