Hello,
I own a house and its primary residence and I have rented out 2 rooms to students for longer term. I am on H1B visa. Please advise how would i file the taxes for rental income and for deduction considering I am on work visa and cannot show active involvement like there is in Air Bnb etc.
I am new to this and I understand that there is one particular schedule, one over the other ( Like Schedule C instead of A) to address this issue. Any advise is appreciated.
