Get your taxes done using TurboTax
I see you';re using the free edition of TurboTax online.
Now do I clear my return and redo it over my taxes was rejected
With the free edition, once you have registered (which is required in order to attempt to e-file) you can no longer clear the return and start over. You just need to identify and fix the problem identified in the rejection message or e-mail you received.
Irs gave me 10 days to refile please help.
That's not right. The IRS does not give you a stated number of days to refile in the rejection message. If you file on the original due date of the return (Apr 18 for 2022 taxes) and it's rejected, you have 5 days to fix and e-file the return with no late filing penalty. If you e-filed after the original deadline (weather you filed for and were granted an extension or not) you have until Oct 15th 2023 to e-file the return.
Note that if you do not owe taxes and will be getting a refund, then there is no late filing penalty at all.
