Get your taxes done using TurboTax

This has nothing to do with Apple. Apple publishes release notes when they update an OS version and TurboTax should be on top of that. The code update fails while looking for a library that TurboTax SHOULD know isn't at the path where it's looking (because starting in Big Sur,  Apple puts all the system libraries in a cache that can be accessed  by a linker). The fact that this worked previously tells me some other developer made a change that violates that. There are plenty of support sites that discuss why the update is failing with the error code that it's throwing. The problem is that finding a workaround is not straightforward.

And the mystery is why TurboTax hasn't fixed this given that it worked before (and is likely a small fix). The other mystery is why it (allegedly) works on Ventura, but not Big Sur. One thing is for certain: this will be my last year using TurboTax. I called and asked to have the license code reset so I could install the software on a Windows box. Nope. They wouldn't do it despite not being able to proceed after the FORCED update that crashes.
