I'll add to my previous post that Mac is OS Big Sur v. 11.7.8 , MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2013) , which is 32 bit . There is discussion on some forums of end-of-software support for 32 bit macs , but it doesn't seem that Intuit (or Apple) would cut off the support abruptly like that. Hoping the issue is just a bad update release (affecting mostly older macs), and will be fixed soon.
