We cannot see your tax return or your screen. Are you entering the control number because you are trying to import your W-2? If it's not working, just enter the W-2 manually instead. That will be a lot faster and easier than trying to figure out why the import is not working. When you enter the W-2 manually you can just omit the control number. It is not required.
