My wife passed away in July 2023. Our daughter is the beneficiary of her Traditional IRA.
Over the years we contributed after tax money to her Traditional IRA and TurboTax has recognized the after tax money as the basis for the IRA and adjusted the tax due.
Do after tax contributions carry forward to the inherited IRA?
