Get your taxes done using TurboTax

It's unclear what you did.  I have some other comments that may help you figure it out.

If you have a Turbotax Online account, you may get emails reminding you to file, even if you already filed using a different online account, or you filed using the program installed on your own computer.  You can ignore these emails if you know you filed.

Whenever you e-file (on the desktop application or the web site), there is an additional step to actually File/Transmit your return that comes after setting up your tax payments and Turbotax fees.  It is possible that you missed this last step.  In that case, change your tax return to say "I will mail a check" and then transmit the return.  By selecting "I will mail a check", the program won't make an electronic payment, and you don't have to actually mail a check if you already paid.

If you want to check if your tax return was filed or not, you can try getting your transcript.  Your tax return transcript will show if you filed a return, and your account transcript will show your payments and any balance due.  If you never filed, but you did pay, there will be a payment on your account but no 2022 transcript.

Please double-check your payment method to be sure you really did pay.  If you selected electronic payment in Turbotax, but never filed, then the IRS should not be able to actually collect the payment (because they never had your info).  Check your bank account to make sure a payment was really deducted.  (If you paid separately on the IRS web site, that would be unaffected by the failure to transmit.)

Lastly, if you owed a tax payment, and you paid on time but did not file on time, the IRS may send you a bill for a late filing penalty, which is 0.5% per month of the amount you owed.  If you also failed to pay, the penalty is 5% per month.  When you get the notice, you can request a waiver from the IRS if this is your first time owing a penalty or if you believe you have reasonable cause.

Unfortunately, missing the final "Transmit" step is not covered by the Turbotax guarantee because Turbotax has no control over when and why some people skip this step.
