The only way that you might get a 'tax break' on a purchase of a new car would be if you were self employed.

or if you want to claim the sales tax paid for that vehicle, you could do that too.

Otherwise, I am not aware of any tax credits. The EV credit is the way to go at the present time but only if you buy and EV.
