If the built in software update function doesn't work when you choose "Check for Updates" method, then you might want to give manual update a try. For Windows:
- Close TurboTax and all other programs except this browser window
- Select this link to download the 216 MB update
- Save the update file to your Windows desktop
- Double-click the update file w_perrelsuperpatch... on your desktop to install the manual update
