TT cannot eFile returns to the State of Hawaii but I printed the TT created state return and mailed it in, as required.
I just received a notice from the Hawaii State Tax Office saying that my return could not be processed because it did NOT include a copy of my W-2. I don't know for sure if Hawaii "requires" a W-2 or if they were just "checking up" on me. In other words, was this a TT "oversight" or was it a bug that the W-2 was not added to the return? My 2021 state return (also done with TT) did not include a W-2, BUT they never asked for one later.
I have submitted a protected copy of the return, token number 1147807 if someone at Intuit wants to follow-up on this.
