Are you entering a W-2 that you received from an employer that you worked for, or are you creating a W-2 to issue to an employee who worked for you?
If you are entering a W-2 that you received from an employer, what you should enter in box 5 is whatever is in box 5 of the W-2 that you got from your employer. If you do not have the actual W-2, contact the employer and get a new copy of it. You cannot make it up or fill it out yourself, or guess at what the amounts should be.
