I understand and I’m grateful for the help. But it’s not exactly helpful when the same things are repeated and people aren’t considering the specific situation.
Line 37 and the TurboTax cover sheet are in agreement. Direct deposit was entered. The amount, and only amount, directly debited from my account was the estimated taxes. The amount was only $7 different so it wasn’t noticed.
One possible consideration is that I used the downloaded TurboTax because I file in multiple states and my firm (one of the Big 4) has a negotiated rate with Turbo Tax.
