Got dividends but no 1099-Div
Hi
I earned dividend income from shares in India market. Concerned brokerage firm is not issuing any 1099-Div form. I have been holding these shares for more than 10 years hence I know they are qualified and will enter them as qualified dividend. But I am not sure should I also enter them in ordinary dividend box or leave that box empty. If I leave ordinary box empty and fill qualified dividend box only, then I get tax refund more that than what I get if I enter nothing in both boxes. Hence I am confused.
