To clarify, it appears the form referenced is the MD 507 which is just for local and state withholding in Maryland. According to the Comptroller of Maryland the form is still used for 2023. You may be able to use either form.

The exemptions referred to on line 1 relate to the number on page 2. You should complete lines a-f on page 2. Whatever amount you get on line f, should be the maximum amount put on line 1.
