Get your taxes done using TurboTax
TurboTax (TT) cannot handle the filing of PA city tax return. For you, that does not matter. As a non resident, you do not need to file a PA city return and cannot get any of that city tax refunded.
As to Ohio city taxes, TT can handle cities that belong to RITA or CCA, but not any others.
To verify or find out if you live in a school district or city with an income tax enter your address at:
http://www.tax.ohio.gov/Individual/LocalTaxInformation.aspx
At the bottom of the W-2 Screen, in TurboTax, is a link:
Note: Ohio
residents find box 20
codes here
In that link you'll find all the Ohio School
District and CCA and RITA city codes. If your city is not on the RITA or CCA list. it is not a member.
If your PA city tax paid shows in box 19 of your W-2, your Ohio city will most likely give you a credit, or partial credit, on your Ohio residence city return.
