If the 1099 is for your Per Capita payment, you can enter as Miscellaneous income so that you do not have to upgrade. Under Less Common Income, Miscellaneous Income, Other Reportable Income. Enter 1099-MISC (name of payer) as the description. DO NOT enter in the 1099-MISC section (this will force the upgrade).
